Household Sewage Treatment System Grant Program

Thank you for your interest in the Lorain County General Health District (LCGHD) Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) Program. The link below will describe this Program and the requirements for participation.

Population was estimated at 1341 on the 2010 Census. The Township has 19.985 miles of Township road to maintain for residents and employs one full time and four part time employees.

Huntington Township is pleased to offer the Recycling Center at 45955 State Route 162 (next to the Township hall).


9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Saturday

This center is for all Huntington Township residents and businesses ONLY that want to recycle but may not have an avenue to do so.

Huntington Township Trustees meet the first and third Monday of every month in the Township Hall (School building) on the corner of SR 58 & SR 162 at 7:00 PM.

The Trustees invite residents to attend and be informed!

The Huntington Township Zoning Commission is made up of six township residents. The Zoning Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
